Mountain Residence's conference hall is a versatile space designed to accommodate a wide range of events – from lectures and presentations to poker tournaments. With seating for 270 guests, the hall also features two smaller meeting rooms for more private gatherings.
The conference hall’s understated interior ensures that guests remain focused on the event or speaker. Equipped with advanced technical solutions and acoustically isolated from the rest of the hotel, the space provides clear, undisturbed sound without external noise or reverberation.
For maximum flexibility, the hall consists of two sections that can be combined or separated using large pivoting doors, allowing for seamless event customization. The adjoining foyer is designed for convenience, featuring a dedicated kitchen and stainless steel furniture for buffets and coffee breaks.
Floor-to-ceiling windows fill the hall with natural light, creating an open and inviting atmosphere. When needed, motorized blackout curtains block out daylight, ensuring optimal visibility for projector presentations.
Natural materials play a key role in the hall’s design. The walls and columns are clad in thermally treated wooden shingles – a nod to the traditional wooden rooftops of Carpathian villages.
COMBINATION OF MATERIALS AND FLEXIBILITY
NO INVASION TO PRIVACY
The second meeting room offers a more private setting, furnished with a round table and chairs from the Ukrainian brand Noom. Both meeting rooms are enhanced by large windows and direct access to the outdoors, creating a bright and airy environment.
The larger of the two meeting rooms features a conference table for 12 people. Its solid wood tabletop has a rich, textured finish that complements the tactile tree bark used in the wall decor. Suspended above the table, a custom-designed, cloud-shaped lamp serves as a striking focal point. Crafted from fiberglass, papier-mâché, and soft sesame fiber, the lamp has multiple lighting modes, allowing the ambiance to shift from bright and functional to warm and intimate.
POWER OF CREATIVITY
THE PURPOSE
– A conference room is, first and foremost, a functional space where people come for a specific purpose – not to admire bold design statements. Our goal was to seamlessly blend functionality, modern solutions, and authentic details that give the space its unique character. – Dmytro Bonesko, Art Director of YOD Group.
