MOUNTAIN RESIDENCE / SPA ZONE
The Mountain Residence SPA is a sanctuary for physical relaxation and emotional rejuvenation, occupying the top floor and rooftop of the hotel. The design concept is rooted in biodesign, which mimics the organic forms of natural bodies of water and emphasizes the use of natural materials. Panoramic windows from the pool area and the rooftop terrace offer breathtaking views of the Carpathian peaks.

SWIMMING POOL
The lower level features a relaxation area centered around a large swimming pool. Designed according to biodesign principles, the pool resembles a natural reservoir with rounded edges and smooth depth transitions. The seamless stone-carpeted flooring extends from the floor to the pool’s edges, integrating it seamlessly into the space. With a maximum depth of 120 cm, the pool is not meant for intensive swimming but rather for relaxation, socializing, and children's play. Above the water, striking installations of branches suspended within large stainless steel rings add a sculptural element to the serene atmosphere.
Adjacent to the pool, sun loungers offer guests a place to unwind – the most coveted spots are those facing the windows, providing an uninterrupted view of the mountains. A swim-up bar allows guests to enjoy cocktails or vitamin-infused drinks without leaving the water. Adding to the ambiance, a large LED screen adjusts its visuals to reflect the time of day and special events.
ALL ABOUT RELAX
The second level, located on a mezzanine that overlooks but does not enclose the pool, houses the treatment rooms. This area features a range of wellness experiences, including massage rooms, a meditation sauna with moderate heating, a hammam with massive marble sunbeds and seating, a Korean bath, and a hemp-aroma sauna. Nearby, a phyto-bar with tables covered in the same stone-carpeted flooring as the pool provides a tranquil space to enjoy herbal infusions and wellness drinks.
DIVE INTO THE HISTORICAL MYTHS
From the SPA floor, guests can access the rooftop terrace, home to the complex’s most Instagrammable feature – a cantilevered rooftop pool. Its transparent glass bowl extends over the edge of the 11-story building, creating the exhilarating sensation of floating above the mountains. In addition to the pool, the rooftop features three ofuro bathes with water at varying temperatures. A separate structure on the terrace, clad in wooden shingles – a nod to traditional Carpathian architecture – houses the Molfar’s Bath. Inside, the warmth of the wood and soft, dim lighting create an atmosphere of deep solitude, evoking the feeling of a secluded mountaintop retreat. The interior is finished in black clay, adding an earthy, grounding element to the experience.
